Day 1: Bogot\u00e1<\/strong><\/p>\n

After clearing customs and immigration at El Dorado International Airport you will be met and assisted on your transfer to the selected hotel. Remainder of the day on own to relax or explore the surroundings of your hotel. Later today enjoy your first Class of Salsa with a professional teacher.<\/p>\n

Back to the hotel, your evening will be at leisure. Overnight in Bogota.<\/p>\n

Day 2: Bogot\u00e1<\/strong><\/p>\n

After breakfast depart on comprehensive tour of the city that will show you the highlights of the Colombian capital.\u00a0 See the Plaza de Bolivar, the historical center of Bogota surrounded by Colombia\u2019s Primary Cathedral, National Capitol, Archbishop’s Palace, Palace of Justice, Li\u00e9vano Palace – greater Bogota City Hall – passing by the Palace of Nari\u00f1o, official residence of the head of State, Palacio de San Carlos and residence and Government seat of Sim\u00f3n Bol\u00edvar. Visit the Gold Museum, that displays a great collection of Hispanic and Pre-Colombian world jewelry crafted in gold and tumbaga (an alloy of gold and copper). Then walk through the Candelaria quarter, declared a national monument, with its steep, narrow streets, mansions and balconies which are the heritage and the living memory of colonial architecture.<\/p>\n

Afternoon at leisure to relax. Later your guide will meet with you to take you to a typical Salsa club.<\/p>\n

Overnight in Bogota (B)<\/p>\n

Day 3: Bogot\u00e1, <\/strong>Cali<\/strong><\/p>\n

After breakfast, depart Bogota for your flight to Cali.<\/p>\n

Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel.<\/p>\n

In the afternoon your local guide will pick you up to take you to a Salsa school to perfect your dancing skills. Later tonight, depart to your Salsa Club Tienda Vieja with your tour guide<\/p>\n

Overnight in Cali (B)<\/p>\n

Cali, founded in 1536, can be explored on foot: walk under the shade of trees along the riverbank, admire the architecture of churches and other national monuments, and visit the city\u2019s many museums. In Cali, travelers can enjoy music festivals, learn about sugarcane farming, and take in the mountainous landscapes.<\/p>\n

Cali is known as the World Capital of Salsa due to the cheerful nature and the passion that the Calenos dance this frenetic rhythm. Salsa dancing may seem difficult, especially when it\u2019s performed by master pairs and dance groups that have spent years perfecting their movement, coordination, and speed. There are numerous opportunities in Cali for visitors to try this energetic dance, as there are a number of dance academies and schools offering lessons tailor-made for beginners.<\/p>\n

Day 4: Cali<\/strong><\/p>\n

Day at leisure to explore Cali on own, or to take another Salsa Class.<\/p>\n

Get ready for an incredible dinner and Salsa Night at Delirio or Ensalsate<\/p>\n

Day 5: <\/strong>Cali, Medell\u00edn<\/strong><\/p>\n

At agreed time, transfer to the airport to board your flight to Bogota with connection to Medellin.<\/p>\n

Medell\u00edn, capital of Antioquia department, has a pleasant climate of around 75\u00b0F; offers modern transport systems like Metro and Metro Cable, and an efficient infrastructure which has allowed it to host world-class events. Located in a valley surrounded by mountains, this city is always friendly to visitors. In 2012 the city won the title of \u201cCity of the Year\u201d: a competition organized by the US newspaper Wall Street Journal and the Citi Group. Known by Colombians as \u2018The City of the Eternal Spring,\u2019 Medellin was chosen for its progress, potential, \u201crich culture and impressive strides in urban development<\/p>\n

Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel to check in<\/p>\n

In the afternoon your tour guide will show you the highlights of Medellin.<\/p>\n

Start at El Poblado, head to \u2018La Milla de Oro\u2019, which is the financial sector of the city. Here we will find the Square \u2018Parque de El Poblado\u2019<\/strong>\u00a0where the City was born. The next stop will be at the<\/strong> Sculptures\u2019 Square, just outside of Museo de Antioquia to admire the twenty three statues donated to the city by Fernando Botero. In this area we will also see Palacio de la Cultura<\/strong>; a gothic style building that houses the Hotel Nutibara – the first luxury hotel in the city, constructed in 1945. Finally After a short stop at\u00a0the los Pies Descalzos square, <\/strong>go up the hill of\u00a0Cerro Nutibara<\/strong>\u00a0to visit the life-sized replica of a typical village of the region called\u00a0Pueblito Paisa. <\/strong>There you can enjoy a panoramic view of the city) and the surrounding mountains.
